At ReadFlow, we strive to deliver your orders promptly and safely. This Delivery Policy outlines our delivery procedures, timelines, and guidelines to ensure a smooth delivery experience. We are committed to providing excellent service and keeping you informed throughout the delivery process.

1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver to all serviceable locations across India:

  • All major metro cities
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities
  • Towns and villages
  • Remote and rural areas
  • Union Territories
  • Hill stations (subject to accessibility)

Note: Delivery to certain remote locations may take longer due to limited courier serviceability.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Important Notes:

  • Delivery times are estimated and may vary based on location
  • Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays
  • Orders placed after 5 PM will be processed the next business day
  • Weekend orders will be processed on Monday

3. Delivery Process

  1. Order Confirmation: You receive an email/SMS confirmation immediately after placing your order
  2. Order Processing: Your order is verified, packed, and prepared for dispatch (1-2 business days)
  3. Dispatch Notification: You receive tracking details once your order is shipped
  4. In Transit: Track your order in real-time using the tracking number
  5. Out for Delivery: You receive a notification when your order is out for delivery
  6. Delivery: Our courier partner delivers your order to your doorstep
  7. Delivery Confirmation: You receive a delivery confirmation once the order is successfully delivered

4. Delivery Attempts

Multiple Delivery Attempts:

Our courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts:

  • 1st Attempt: Initial delivery attempt at your provided address
  • 2nd Attempt: If unsuccessful, another attempt within 24-48 hours
  • 3rd Attempt: Final delivery attempt before returning to origin

You will receive SMS/email notifications before each delivery attempt. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package.

Failed Delivery:

If all delivery attempts fail, your order will be returned to ReadFlow. Common reasons include:

  • Customer unavailable at delivery address
  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Customer refused to accept delivery
  • Premises locked or inaccessible

5. Delivery Requirements

At the Time of Delivery:

  • Signature Required: A signature is required to confirm delivery
  • ID Verification: For high-value orders, ID proof may be required
  • Package Inspection: You may inspect the package for external damage before accepting
  • Delivery Note: Please retain the delivery note for future reference

Note: Once you sign for the delivery, the order is considered successfully delivered.

6. Address Guidelines

To ensure smooth delivery, please provide complete and accurate address details:

Required Information:

  • Full name of recipient
  • Complete street address
  • Landmark (if applicable)
  • City, State, PIN code
  • Mobile number
  • Alternate contact number

Tips for Accurate Address:

  • Include building/house number
  • Mention floor/apartment number
  • Add nearby landmarks
  • Verify PIN code accuracy
  • Provide working phone number
  • Update address if relocated

7. Delivery Issues

Damaged Package:

If you receive a damaged package:

  • Do not accept the delivery if the package is visibly damaged
  • If already accepted, take photos of the damage immediately
  • Contact our customer support within 24 hours
  • We will arrange for a replacement or refund

Wrong or Missing Items:

If you receive wrong or missing items:

  • Check the package contents immediately upon delivery
  • Contact us within 48 hours with order details
  • Provide photos of the received items
  • We will send the correct items or process a refund

Delayed Delivery:

If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery date:

  • Check the tracking status for updates
  • Contact our customer support for assistance
  • We will coordinate with the courier partner
  • Compensation may be provided for significant delays

8. Rescheduling Delivery

If you need to reschedule your delivery:

  • Contact our customer support as soon as possible
  • Provide your order number and preferred delivery date
  • Rescheduling is subject to courier partner availability
  • Additional charges may apply for rescheduling

Note: Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery.

9. Contactless Delivery

For your safety and convenience, we offer contactless delivery:

  • Delivery executive will place the package at your doorstep
  • You will receive a call/SMS notification
  • Collect the package after the delivery executive leaves
  • Digital signature or photo proof will be captured

You can request contactless delivery by adding a note during checkout or contacting customer support.

10. Holidays and Delays

Delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • National and regional public holidays
  • Extreme weather conditions (floods, storms, etc.)
  • Natural calamities and disasters
  • Political unrest, strikes, or bandhs
  • Courier partner operational issues
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

We will keep you informed of any delays and work to deliver your order as soon as possible.
